I was seriously craving a proper shawarma and decided to make my way from Oran Park to check out Shawarma Night & Gelato after seeing all the great reviews—and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. The atmosphere is clean, spacious, and inviting. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was the lovely staff—especially a wonderful lady named Shaamie. When I told her I was after an authentic shawarma experience, she smiled and said, “Pay for the order and I’ll take care of your shawarma.” And that she did—far beyond expectations. Shaamie truly has magic in her hands. The shawarma she prepared for me was, without a doubt, the best I’ve had in Sydney so far. Everything was incredibly fresh—the meat, the ingredients, and the perfectly toasted wrap. You could taste the care and passion she puts into her food. Every bite was bursting with flavour, and I could tell this wasn’t just a meal—it was a labour of love. The filling was generous, the seasoning spot on, and the texture absolutely perfect. In just a few minutes, she plated and served it with such grace that it felt like I was being looked after by a friend. “ Today was my first time visiting Shawarma Night & Gelato. I thought it would be just another shawarma restaurant with minimum customer service and minimal meat in the shawarma. Well, I was wrong about everything! The portions were generous. The chicken and minced lamb skewers were juicy, soft, and tender. They weren't over-salted like other places (salt is often used as a preservative on meat to make it last longer, which means it's not fresh!). People who know me well know that I am very picky and hard to please when it comes to food and service. The restaurant is very clean, and the girl who served me had outstanding hospitality skills; she was polite, nice, and friendly! I tried the lamb meat and ended up ordering a lamb shawarma to take away, as it was very tasty and rightly marinated. Their homemade chili mayo sauce is a must-try!! Thumbs up to the owners and the girl at the counter for delivering such a warm welcome. I didn't feel like I was at some random shawarma place; I felt like I visited my relatives for lunch. I will be back to try the lamb skewer and a few other things from the menu. ”

This ticked all the boxes. Absolutely perfect. Great service from the team there. The very helpful and quiet beautiful lady even offered to film the toasting process for me. Next level! ”
